Why join a Growth Group?
To connect and grow together! Growth Groups are the best way to get plugged into the church and grow your faith. You will create lasting relationships as you progress in your own faith journey.
Who leads these groups?
Groups are led by guides who are your neighbors, friends and fellow members of the church. They are trained and supported by a team dedicated to the success of Growth Groups throughout our congregation.
What will we study?
Most of the topics are based on the previous Sunday’s message. These “sermon-based” Growth Groups are built on the idea that growth happens best in circles, not rows.
Imagine Sunday’s message as a sermon like you were back in a lecture hall in college. The Growth Group is the lab where you get to roll up your sleeves and discuss how that topic applies to your life. Each week there will be a series of Bible passages and questions on the back of the sermon note sheet to get you prepared for your weekly meeting. Spending 20 minutes of prep will result in the most meaningful time at your Growth Group.
What is expected of me if I join a Growth Group?
- To attend your group regularly. We understand life happens, perfect attendance is not required!
- To stay tuned into the conversation, hearing Sunday’s sermon is important! (Watch the streaming/recorded version if you weren’t able to attend in person)
- This commitment on your part is the key to a strong Growth Group!
How do I sign up?
Each Growth Group session runs for approximately 8-10 weeks with opportunities to jump in throughout the year or switch groups as your life and schedule demands. Most groups stay together through the entire year. Growth Groups typically take a pause during the summer months of mid-June through August. You can sign up on this website, through our Church Center App or at Sunday’s service before each session begins.
